BMW K1200GT Problems

Postby BMWK1200GT on Mon Jun 27, 2011 5:32 am

Hi
New to the forum and new to bikes, im 22 year old biker chick and just got my new bike BMW K1200GT - and I love it :D :D :D

But when I take it around 50 mph it feels like it wobbles - past this 70ish is fine - not a big issue but sure to get on my nerves.

Is this a common fault..

First step in this type of situation is too seek out the easiest to resolve issues first. Are the tires in good shape and are you sure the wheels are balanced?

If not the tire...you may want the dealer to also check the tire balance...and then the ball joint.

First suggestion...check your tire pressure. Second, get the steering lubed.
