my new K1300R...

Postby tijran on Thu Jun 14, 2012 2:10 pm

Have recently graduated from a F800R to a K1300R ...it's hard to know what to say! Much as I loved my F, with the K everything is on another level. Not only is it so amazingly fast, it handles beautifully and it's incredibly comfortable too...look forward to putting on some miles soon and telling you all about it! So much bigger and heavier than the 800 but paradoxically so much easier to handle!

Anyway, it's a K1300R Dynamic with the Dynamic Package (TPC, ABS and ASC) and Akrapovic end-can. Purchased from Vines Caterham in Surrey.

The can's baffle screw had a dab of weld to keep it in place but a spanner soon made short work of that. Without the baffle the sound is now quite extraordinary - a proper low growl!

Always nice to see another K1200R / K1300R

. They are very rare here in the United States. And yes I am envious  Very Nice indeed!
