...and this is how the Skidmarx hugger attaches...I'm not so sure it would be damage free and very secure...IMO

Nice landscape! At what time those pictures were taken? 2 years ago I was on a motorcycle trip in Norway. Beautiful country but the speed limits really sucks and the penalties are terrible. Speed limits are good for a Harley riders or mountain bikers :P In Poland you can go even 300 km/h on the speed limit like 120 km/h and if you get caught you get a penalty ticket (500 zł ~ 900 NOK) and penalty points (10 - max limit is 24).
In which city do you live? In next two weeks I am planning visiting my friend in Hamar :)

Hi :)

Had to check my phone to see when they where taken... And they were taken ca. at 02.00, nighttime ;)

If you read this post, i know all about the insane politics regarding driving, speedlimits and punishment if you get caught....

I live in a city called Ålesund.... Its a bit funny, but i have been several times in your country... The first time when i was only 7 yrs old.... Our family know a family in Poland, close to Sopot... So i have been in both Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia many times... :) Sopot in summertime is as good, maybe better, then the Spain ;)

Btw, i actually got hold of a hugger here in Norway... I was browsing the net for used parts, and came over this one. Only used one season, and taken off because he sold his bike... and i am going to pick it up next week when i am going for a trip to Oslo...

http://www.wunderlich.de/shopart/860136 ... -Sport.htm

Its in perfect condition, and i got it for norwegian kr 1000.-, ( ca. 120 euros) While he paid just over 300 euros incl freight for it... Hopefully a good deal, and i hope it will look good on the bike... He said i had to loosen the backwheel, to put it in, so i have asked a friend of mine that is a mechanic, and works alot with bikes. And he is gonna help me... We'll se if i like it, because its nice with the open, sporty gap back there also :D

Oh, what a coincidence! :D Sopot is really nice city but it could be a little bit warmer here :)
I've checked where the Ålesund is and... it's located in a wonderful place!

It looks that you caught a good deal! I think, that with a hugger it looks a little bit better. However the hugger tends to vibrate on a bumpy roads and I find it irritating. I just took some photos to show you the difference :)

Sometimes the world is not that big ;)

Yes, Ålesund actually scored nr.1 as Norways most beautiful city.... Gotta boast a little of my hometown :p Its surrounded by the sea at almost all places... uploading a pic taken from the restaurant on the top of the mountain in the middle of the city... Its a "small" pic, and taken at night.... :)

I am exited to test out the hugger, and hopefully it dont irritate me too much... I am not really all for putting on too much carbondetails, but this was a good deal, so lets have a try... Now i am going out for a spin, because the weather is exellent, and up here it tunrs quickly ;)

Wow! It's really cool! Is in your city some job for a graduate automation and control systems engineer? :D

This saturday, 23-06-2012, we drove a 400km run and some of the road is tha national road with the number 666... Therefore this annualy tour, is called "Route 666". Tis arranged by the Harley Davidson-owners group together with a mc-shop.... Its a wonderful, scenic route.... And this year, we were about 100 bikes... Mostly locals, but alså from other cities, and a few from other countries as Germany..... I could make ut two Bmw-bikes, mine and one more :p

Here is a film when we arrived a city called Molde, and the police guided us trhuu the whole site with flash on ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UinxzOth0mw

It was a blast of a ride :-)

You may find that the front edge of the hugger vibrates against the swingarm when riding over bumps or when putting the bike into first gear at a stop. I found the noise to be quite annoying so I used a larger piece of fairly stiff foam to replace the small standard piece, and the noise was eliminated. Good luck with yours!
