I come last night to Finland. Yesterday i made an email to insurance company and went to drop the bike to service, but they had closed already at 3 pm. There is feria or something big fiesta in Malaga and because of that they had changed opening times for this week. Now the bike is in my garage and repairing will delay because of this. If i would known that, i would have gone there already in the morning. :x

About HP2 Sport they sent an offer, which i accepted and there should come some papers to sign, but nothing yesterday yet. The bike stays with me, so i can repair it or sell. Let's see.

feria sounds spinnish to me. At any rate, we get the idea. Great stories Eka! An interesting read for me, I can go 300 km and not increase elevation by 100m. so l like hilly countries.

My bike at the same stop. The previous village is behind and down there somewhere hiding:

Hahahahaaa, love it.

I watched a James Bond movie once where the baddies had road tyres, they pressed a button and spike came out. That's what you need Eka. :D

Horrible trying to turn a bike round on a narrow steep hill when it's Tarmac but when it's stones .......

Wasn't fun at all and beside the "road" was also quite nice drop to steam or what ever there was.

I get those crash bars and lights couple weeks ago. Well, it has been quiet here during winter time. I'm emotionally involved with winter and went yesterday up to couple kilometers to see some snow :bom:

This is Puerto de la Ragua. It is pass over Sierra Nevada and it's about 200km through fantastic roads from my home to get there, or about 170km using more highways. That pass is just about 2 km high. GPS did show like 2040m, there was sign in pass of 2000m and very old sign down in willage promised 1990m. It's quite exactly 2km high pass...

I have missed a place to recharge mobile phone, bluetooth headphones or something else. I found from dealextreme.com nice USB-wire, where is all plugs i need in one and put this in left side box:

There is just enough space behind the box to put the extre socket there. those plugh i don't need i tied up wit cable tights. I put some extra cushion around the box also.

Eka, May 25 I am in Granada (arriving May 24, depart May 26). If you want to say hi and join me and my friends for a beer or two, let me know. We're going to be having a tour of the Alhambra early afternoon and staying in the Alixares right next to it.

Yes, should be. Anyway it's easy to do, but needs to take off lot of fairings first. I didn't has big enoug drill for it, but used dremel to make hole big enough. I have somewhere plug with two USB outputs. Plastic around that mini usb is a little too thick to fit to charge my BT system. It has a hole, where charger wire should fit. I need to carve a little plastic off from that plug or put other plug for that. What ever, but this is good now :)

The camera is behind screen, but still too much wind noise. It would be nice to hear engine better. I have to try to wrap something around it...

Great video Eka. Your ride looks and sounds much more fun that the demo that I did. I may have to go back and do another ride. I think the last time the dealer had the wrong mode set for me. From other people I talked to, i think it needs to be in dynamic to feel the power.

Your choice of music to ride to might not be for me but those roads look soooo much fun. For such a large bike it flicks through the bends well.

How do you like the K1600GT on them? I've just clocked about 1600 miles on mine over the past 2 weeks and am loving it. It's such an amazing handling bike for its size and weight. When you get to 4500rpm you hit warp factor 8 and she's off on a silky smooth rush of power and noise. Just typing this I want to go back out for a spin. :D

How do you mount the camera? Is it a chest mount?

Well, the music was so low, that i actually didn't hear it much... and it was random from memory stick, where i quickly just put something.

With that speed it is light and very easy to drive. It is amazing how easy it flips from side to side. It must be that duolever front, which is even better in a heavy bike like this. I wasn,t even pushing so hard. For me it was more like relaxing cruising :D

The camera is mounted behind the screen with suction cups. I have one, which has four small suction cups, one in every corner. I think it's more staple than one big one.

I ask how you mounted your camera as I am curious as to what keeps appearing in the bottom right of the video.

I was thinking of one of these.
