This maybe a good time to give some stats about the site. although we have about 11,000 registrations and 8,000 active members, our visitor or lurker list is normally 10 to 20 times as many. Because we don't limit access to lurkers, the vast majority of people visiting this community at any one time are lurkers.

For example as I write this:
In total there are 77 users online :: 4 registered, 1 hidden and 72 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)

We have 77 users online right now and 72 are guests/visitors/lurkers, that's a ratio of 18 times as many guests as members... :)

that type of info is not available. but we have 11,000 people who have registered on our community and about 8,000 who have confirmed their registration, that makes their account or membership activated. These stats don't include a few dozen spammers that I delete from the site each month. :)

nice image! by the way I merged two threads, because I don't want a bunch of happy holiday type of messages floating around. so feel free to wish people well in this thread, whether it's Christmas or Hanukkah or something more unique to your own culture.... [smilie=55.gif] :santa: :rendeer:

I'm so pathetic. Greetings from Gran Canaria. I just woke up to check from computer if it is yesterday evening or today evening and it's 5 am. One friend insist to buy me a dinner and i get mixed grill plate with more meat than i can eat in a week. Plenty of good wine and i'm knocked. OK, back to bed...

Nice pic :!:

I didn't get or gave any presents... I'm bad. I tried to get some sun, but too windy at pool. Too much eating and drinking thought. Yesterday i get healthy and had every sort of grilled seafood and it did taste like cod-liver oil. I was sort of afraid afterwards, that i have to enjoy that taste twice. The bed in hotel room has lost it's last soft spot in early 70's. Maybe that's why i didn't notice the difference and my room mate woke me up from floor couple days ago. I still have numb last too finger in my clutch hand as it was my mattress in that tile floor. I hope those will get better or i should get vario levers from Wunderlich for all my bikes and use only two functional fingers. One younger guy from our group is third day in hospital after getting terrible stomach pain. Today there was not still any doctors to give any diagnosis, but they suspect inflamed pancreas. They didn't gave him even pyjamas or something and he had the same jeans and stinky t-shirt on. Thankfully they give after our request something strong medicine and he get sleepy ... and we didn't had to stay and enjoy the bad smell no more.

So it was traditional Christmas for me. I just love these holidays...

Well,
My Christmas was nice and uneventful...

My girlfriend gave for presents a 3/8" Torquemeter and a SAE wrench set. Nice! I love tools!

So, to her dismay.... I spent Christmas day putting my K12R back together.
Stopped my post-surgery meds on the 23rd, so I did drink a bit on the 24th, and a twelve-pack yesterday (over the whole day while working on the bike).

Had dinner and went to bed at 10:00pm... Back on meds now....

I think it was a peaceful Christmas and the first one in a long time I will actually remember...

Happy New Year!

I love the way that Eka lives, he really does put us all to shame :D hope you pal gets better Eka

Like mondrage i have spent chrimbo day and all today rebuilding, in my case it was the big laptop that got beer spilled all over. its running now but the graphics card is goofed and as it is part of the main board (and i complicated the issue massively by reflashing the bios and bricking it (thats taken most of the time)) , im not decided what im going to do with it yet (£300 for the new board)

Got some tele watching to do and if i remember my list of jobs over chrimbo correctly, i have to wire starcom on the the bike (8 hrs for a pro, reckon im looking at a couple of days :( )

Have a good un everyone. all the best.
Cheers
