Online communities

Postby GeeBee on Sat Sep 20, 2008 3:37 am

One of the amazing facts of the internet is that online communities keep growing and growing. The world is becoming a global village in a certain way and this community definitely is an example of this.
As an active networker on another online, more professional, community - Linkedin - there is an interesting feature that allows you to become a member of other sub-groups. Usually they are alumni, organization and company oriented. However, recently I came across several groups created on Linkedin that are aiming at BMW owners/riders as well. Remarkable, but not surprising, is that recently a K bikes drivers group was added. I registered to that but was wondering if some of you have done so as well?

I just got the first invite to Linkedin from a fellow Europrezzie in Lisbon. I wonder how long it's going to take.
