nemesis: I'm looking forward to your RSet review.
The rearsets are on the bike and I've already made one adjustment to them. I am going to wait until tomorrow to take pics of the bike and do a video walk around.
The rearsets have 6 positions, 3 low and 3 high. It's a very beautiful set and weighs as light a feather. I rode the bike home with the sets in position 1, which is first low and found them a little lower than OEM. I have since placed them in notch 3, which is the second low position. More info and images most probably by Sat.
john crosby: How could the ABS have been disabled and there be nothing on the bike warning that that was the case?
Let me clarify a few things. this is a press bike. we often do experimentation and take chances that normally aren't done on a purchased bike. You need to keep all this in mind, otherwise if I sense that I am sending the wrong signal to the K1300 owners, then I would have to significantly modify my reviews. What I do with this bike, how I ride it and whether I decide to take the bike out with parts partially installed, or various options out of whack, is my own choice and no one else is to blame.
This is a very important point that should be clear. It's like one of those disclaimers you see at the end of car/motorcycle commercials: shot on closed road by a professional driver/rider, don't try at home.
A dealer would never send out a customer on a bike with various lights blinking on the dash. I did that by choice and only I am to blame for any consequences.
As for the lack of ABS, yes the bike wasn't ready to be ridden, but I rode it anyway.

Rocketier: That's one bad storm and one Bad Azz Bike.
I have a feeling there aren't too many K13 videos like that on the web yet.
don-01: I haven't heard this yet, but for a warning light to pop up out of nowhere is not too unsual, as long as it happens only once. if it happens on more regular basis there is an issue with the dash.
Jamie, geebee: thanks for your comments.
