A neat little tidbit..............

Buchanan is one of the few to have heard BMW’s new 6-cylinder engine in person: “It is the internal combustion engine in all its glory; a clockwork orange of advanced technology and polished internals that culminates in a raw, animalistic and visceral exhaust note.”

I am. :D

It's about three hours by train from where I'm currently staying in the Netherlands, and since I've got nothing better to do that weekend...

Anyway, you're just down the road from Birmingham. I'm sure that BMW will be at the NEC in November.

Indeed. Will be going to the NEC primarily to see the K16GT in the metal. Take some photos Graeme and give us your impressions of the bike.
Thanks.

I'll grab photos of the K1600, and post my general impressions when I get back from Intermot. I'm going on the Saturday, so about a fortnight for now.

I'm actually more interested in the other new bikes that BMW are likely to have there. I had a chat to a dealer in London yesterday and he said that there's more stuff coming, but ruled out a production version of the Cruiser Concept or new R1200R.
