Suspension--ESA

Have 2010 K1300GT with ESA. About 10K miles. The ride is very harsh. PR2 tires at 36/42, set for "Normal" set for "one helmet", I weigh about 240. According to my dealer, the ESA is working and within specs. Any ideas? Ohlins? (at an "ouch" price!!)? Works Performance?
I've been riding BMW a long time: RT, GS, and the ride on either of these is significantly better than the GT. Love the performance, but can't say I like the ride; am concerned that the front tire stay adhered to the pavement!!

I've tried the "comfort" setting, the "normal" setting, and the "sport" setting. The "comfort" is mislabeled--on a freeway, pavement joints are a jolt.

If you weigh 240, I'd suggest changing the setting to rider plus luggage. I understand that the single rider setting is for a 80kg rider (180lbs) I weigh about the same as you and I have it set at rider plus luggage

If you are 240, I would suggest to loose weight for the ESA to last, just my 2 cents no offense.
