I have launched a brand new sportbike community that lives exclusively on Facebook. Why Facebook only, because I feel that Facebook interaction is the most interesting and potent form of social communication since the Discussion Forums started back in the late 1990s. Granted nothing can take the place of a healthy, popular and busy Discussion Forum such as our BMWSuperBikes, but I think the Facebook platform offers a good, lightweight alternative to a new concept and community.
