I don't see it being different to riding any other superbike - just a tad safer.

My thoughts exactly. If any, it's actually safer than riding any pre-TCS/ABS sportsbikes out there.

It's been 3 days and so far, I like it. I like the fact that power comes even more immediate/instantaneously - handy when lane sharing, going between cars, and need to move forward fast. I have noticed however that I have been going between 5-10 mph faster on average, just because the bike gets up to speed noticeably quicker... since I don't have to twist the throttle much to open it up.

Power corrupts. More power corrupts more :-)
Perhaps Race is best for the road riding, just because traction kicks in a bit earlier- safety margin for oil, sand, diesel on the streets.

Corrupt... fun... I guess they're one of those where the line separating them are also a thin one?

And I saw on MCN they sell this HP Package in UK? Along with the Akro full system, it comes with a fully programmable ECU. I saw it on this link, the beginning part:

try a emergency brake maneuver and see how the bike handles in the different modi ... normal roads = "Sport" ... racetrack = "Race"
"Sport" keeps your rear just enough on the road during e-braking ... the rest is just unnecessary stress

How does it handle in low RPMs? Is there a stalling issue (on a stock bike)? I had to sell my beloved K1200S; however, later I am thinking of getting an S1000RR (in a year or so) and started researching already. I will be reading every and each topic and replies on this forum about the RR :).
