Eka, that's a great idea painting the insert frames black. I'd like to do the same. Did you also paint the inside rim of the main exhaust cans black as well? What kind of paint did you use? I'm assuming some kind of high temp flat black enamel, yes? Post a quick picture when you get a chance. Thanks.

Hailwood's Honda RC166, truly a beautiful bike. Saw one at the Barber Motorsports Museum a few years ago. Very cool to hear a sound clip of the engine.

Those are a VAST improvement over the OEM. I don't know what BMW was thinking with those tripple holed whale tails. :roll:

Yeah absolutely, BMW marketing went a bit over the top with the statement I think :shock: Less are certainly a improvement
