F800ST Panniers on a K1200S?

Does anybody know if the F800ST panniers fit onto a K1200S? They look the same but the can is on the opposite side. Also the rear panels are a slightly different shape. I am planning to add rails to my K1200S soon and would like to know if I need extra panniers.

The exhaust is on the other side as you said. The BMW part number is different also. I'd say no. Maybe the right side K12 bag will fit on the F800, and the left side F800 bag will fit on the K12, but that doesn't help you. Wish they did, then the wife could use my panniers on her bike.

Though they look the same, they are not. We tried the experiment this week, and they don't match up. Tried the bags from my K1200S on the 800, no dice.
