Unfortunately I won't be doing a ride on SS III as I have to work some of the weekend. :-(

(Not to mention BMW have not sorted the bike yet).

Yeah, if I feel like riding it - BMW have a week to get their act together.

I'm a bit disappointed that BMW will not open their doors.
Anyway - when do you anticipate to be at Lanseria - I will join you from there to 4 way stop.

Thanks Alex, will see you along the way. Should be there around 08h15 - 08h25.

ALL the exposure goes to the GS bikes, every year is a big get together arranged by BMW, either the GS Challenge or like this year the ECO 1000. Road bikes are not getting ANY exposure, hopefully this will change (or so we think and hope) with the new appointment at BMW with the new S1000RR.

Well, lets make the best of our event and bikes and enjoy it.

........Because the GS is the money spinner. :)

Road bike sales are small in comparison and K-series........well they are tiny, tiny

Thanks Mirage ZA, see you on Sunday.

What can we say Jamie, hopefully the marketing of the S1000RR will be good and that will put road bikes on the 'map' at BMW.

The K S T A Y S an awesome bike and will not be beaten easily.

Hi Biza,

Only figured out now how to join this forum. I would like to join the run to Sun City. Which route are you taking? I'm picking up a pillion in Theresa Park in the north, doesn't make sense to go back to midrand, so would rather like to join you on the way.

Thanks, Deon. 8)

Thanx Biza.

I will be travelling from Rustenburg. Will join you when you turn off from the N4 to Pilansberg. Any Idea when you will be there so I can get my timing sorted out?

I have two K-buddies joining us Anton (100%) and Martin (80% sure he will join). Martin will join from the N14 turn-off onto Lanseria road - Time that you will pass through there? Anton will join you at Midrand.

Looking forward to it.
