On the stock bike it should be T-50.

Though searching the SCBMW site high and low I can't find the slider kit this whole thread is about. Either they have discontinued it or they hid their whereabouts really good.

All,

A full set of R&G sliders are fitted to my K1200S and look like they will do the job when called upon although I do my best not to bring that moment forward!

The Fairing sliders on the S need the most "bottle" to fit due to the drilling of the panels involved but I got mine right with the aid of the guides!

One poin though....I have had my front ones "removed" by some lowlife. Not really sure what you can do to stop this. I have used Loctite when fitting but this won't stop the determined

Best regards,

David

The KR sliders can be found here.

You will need to navigate around to get the fork sliders & rear swing arm slider.

I just got the RG slider package for my K1300S, after giving some thought to drilling the holes in the fairing I decided to let the dealership do it. It's worth a hundred bucks for me not to have to buy new plastics after I screw it up.
Anyone have these frame sliders installed on the silver K1300S? I would love to see a picture before I have them drill.

I just had the clutch replaced on my K12R Sport. It was done on my dime, the explanation from the dealer as follows: They said they think that when I put the R&G slider on the clutch slave cylinder that the ball bearing that presses the plunger flipped around so that basically I was riding with the clutch partially depressed all the time. The clutch was toast in about 2k miles. I don't know if that's what actually happened, or whether the dealer made a mistake when R&R-ing the clutch slave before I replaced the slider, but I thought I should pass this story along. When putting the slider on the clutch slave, make sure that nothing moves!

I've recently noticed that the K1300S has a left slider (under the fairing).
Part number 46717687729

The same part is used on the K1200S, but the K1200S also has an additional slider on the right side.

Has anyone fitted the right hand K1200S side slider to the K1300s ? It's only about thirty dollars for the part, and at first glance, it looks like it could fit.

Anyone ??

I understand that it won't save the fairings (like the R&G products mentioned above) - but it might save the frame.
